Bibliography

Sylvia Townsend Warner (b.1893 d.1978) was an accomplished British author of novels, poetry and short stories, often writing about overlooked members of society. By examining the detail of their lives she shows what extraordinary people they often are. Politically on the left, Warner’s first novel, Lolly Willowes, the story of a modern witch, was a popular success. Most of her later short stories were first published in the New Yorker magazine.

This Bibliography of Sylvia Townsend Warner’s work by R.B. Russell & J. Lawrence Mitchell was circulated privately in 2000, and is now made available for readers, academics and collectors.
